Formula features, dynamic documents, and status changes, oh my! Onspring offers a multitude of functionalities within its platform, and we’re going to walk you through a few of them.
If there’s one thing about Cential Director Jason Rohlf that we know to be true, it’s that he loves Onspring and he loves his Work Lair.
The Work Lair (also known as Jason’s basement) is where Jason has gotten into the habit of showing some of his favorite Onspring features that you may not yet have taken full advantage of—all shown in a series of videos dubbed the Live From The Lair series.
Live From The Lair: Three Of Jason’s Favorite Onspring GRC Features
Feature 1: Onspring Formula Features
In this video, Jason takes us on a tour of some of the “nooks and crannies” within Onspring’s Formula functionality—namely how you can leverage the Calculate Once on Save configuration and the Stop Calculation outcome to help ensure the integrity of your critical data.
Feature 2: Onspring Status Changes
In this edition of Live From The Lair, we went back to the Work Lair with Rohlf to explore another Onspring GRC feature: status changes.
Most Onspring users use the platform to track the overall status of a particular record—and a lot of users want to know if there’s a way to see how long a record has been in a particular state or who moved it from one state to another.
To solve this problem, Onspring introduced a simple yet powerful tool: finding status tracker. In this Live From The Lair video, Jason walks you through this tool and how to best utilize it within your own Onspring platform.
Feature 3: Onspring Dynamic Documents
Onspring Dynamic Documents are a fantastic tool for clearly and concisely delivering information.
However, Onspring users may run into a challenge with generating a meaningful Survey Response summary. Jason found a simple yet powerful (and clever) way around the issue, and shows you how in this live demo. (And as a bonus, you’ll get to meet one of his dear childhood friends!)
